Make Someone's Day

There's one sad truth in life I've found
While journeying east and west
The only folks we really wound
Are those we love the best
We flatter those we scarcely know
We please the fleeting guest,
And deal full many a thoughtless blow
To those who love us best.
~ Ella Wheeler Wilcox

When you realize you've made a mistake, make amends immediately. It's easier to eat crow while it's still warm. Play fair. Don't hit people. Say you're sorry when you hurt somebody. Also in anger do not flare, forgiveness is the best revenge. Let us not look back in anger or forward in fear, but around in awareness. Keep your words soft and tender because tomorrow you may have to eat them. A simple 'sorry' can prove resolving, wrath curbed can be dissolving. Religion is to do right. It is to love, it is to serve, it is to think, it is to be humble. Dont wait for Him to direct you, take the appropriate action... be wise! How beautiful a day can be, when kindness touches it! Lets make someone's day ... lets wipe those tears, come bring a smile :)

very true, something I sit and ponder about very often, but then again, its our loved ones that will forgive us for taking out our frustrations on them..

I wonder how much one can implement this in real life. I guess it's way too impractical when it comes to us...

@Kaushal: If we just can try, we can make a tiny difference. None of us r perfect, none r GOD. But still... To err is human; to forget, divine. And also, To forgive is human, to forget divine!
A kind word to someone wont do any harm to you. Then y not?

@Srinivas: Thanx :)
