Meri hasi rukaaye na ruke
yeh khabar hi kuch aisi hai
tum dono ek saath honge
yeh sunke hi dil jhoom uthe
Tumhe toh kareeb se jaana
Saheli, khushi toh anokhi hai
banjar zameen par bhi fasal pake
umeed par toh duniya kaayam hai
Woh puraane din bhi the jab
aap haso toh woh bhi hase
manchala tha mann aapka tab
der hi sahi, durust toh aaye
humse zaraa bachke rahiyo
varna padenge joote aur gaali
kissi ne khoob kaha hai pyaare
saali hoti hai aadhi gharwali
Ab aage hum kya bole
muh se shabd na chalke
tum dono saath raho sadaa
rab se bas yehi duaa kare
