Mountains!
~ Saloni (Hurricane Ridge, WA)They stand tall, against all odds
withstand sun's heat, bear the snow
and they still fail to wither away.
Water gushes down their fragile body
clouds dilate their cover over them
and they still appear greener everyday.
They give you a top-of-the-world feel
you talk to birds, you're next to stars
and gazing at their beauty you lay.

Mountains: tall and wide, stretching from one end to the other with steep cliffs and deep valleys, it distances ppl, creates borders and hinders easy passage. Consider it a protector or a divider; a beautiful scenery or a hurdle to overcome!
