Beauty

~ Saloni (Rhode Island)
I lay there gazing into the air
the fervor around was indeed rare

The breeze sang his melody
colors enchant, in rhapsody

She met him, like n'ver before
together beautiful, I adore

The sound of her splashes, they anlage
she exhibits her beauty, says I'll manage

He shows off the hot hues
she gets the hint, appreciates the blues

Attracted both, decide to unite
oneness disappeared in the night

I continue to ogle the embracing beauty
O'lord! its the magic of the gaiety

Music enchanting, lights galore
He waits for her on the shore

From dawn to dusk, the wait was long
She never came, he was wrong

Ship leaves, all shall part
Heart bleeding, he shall depart

Lights gone, music silenced
Comes the storm, winds torment

Journey ruined, ship wrecked
He lays on the deck, motionless!

New journey he would begin alone
Never wished she could come along

Asks the Lord, one last sight
Wished she could just love him for a night!

You are a great artist .. even the colour of the text matches the pic. Poetry, picture and colours makes a complete package .. makes one feel he's right there .. good one :)
