LAUGHTER

"Laughter is an orgasm triggered by the intercourse of sense and nonsense." ~Author Unknown
This is the funniest but still apt description of Laughter in a single statement, that I've read so far ;)

Laughter is a tranquilizer with no side effects. Without laughter, life seems to be kinda incomplete. Laughter is an instant vacation from the worries, woes, sorrow, deadlines, grief, or all the sad emotions you can think of ... from the tension of paying your bills, getting a job, fight with your spouse, bad score you got on your tests, the argument you had with your peer, your boss fired you, etc. Perhaps I know best why it is man alone who laughs; he alone suffers so deeply that he had to invent laughter. Remember, humans need laughter sometimes more than food. A human isn't poor if he can still laugh.

People resort to Comics, jokes, funny movies, etc. in order to stimulate laughter. A laugh would be a great break, and work done after taking this medicine, definitely is done with more zeal & produces better results. Had there been no smiles, no laughs, no mischievous grins, how boring would life be! Total absence of humor renders life impossible. Its said 'Seven days without laughter makes one weak'.

He deserves Paradise who makes his companions laugh. And someone who can laugh at himself has won the battle already. Laugh at yourself first, before anyone else can.

Laughter is the cheapest medicine, and you dont even need to go buy it. Laughter therapy, laughter yoga, etc. Laughter yoga/therapy strengthens immune system, unwinds the negative effects of stress, powerful antidotes for depression, anxiety, alleviates high blood pressure, and is a cure to many more.

Nobody ever died of laughter. So what are you waiting for? Laugh... and make others laugh too :) 'Coz he who laughs, lasts!

I agree with you...
I have a few of friends who are able to laugh at any situation ... I have never till date seen them angry or totally dejected .... and I really envy them

No doubt they must be having their own worries but they still can manage to laugh their way out ! Thats amazing ! I would like to be able to do that someday

Laughter, I guess can be used as a medicine to exhibit/ manifest your sentiments(be it joy or sorrow). So when one laughs even under unfavorable situations it is beneficial since it lets the sentiments out of the body in a positive manner spreading a positive energy....and hence they say "he who laughs, lasts" :)
